Hi!
TQM and Six Sigma are basically the same. They are both quality improvement tools.
TQM evolved earlier than Six Sigma ---with the latter only emerging sometime in the 80's.
There's a lot of materials in the NET on these two (2) subject matters. There's even a site that is totally focused on Six Sigma too.

TQM is more broad based as an improvement initiative, tackling the easier improvements. SS is statistically based, focussing on variation reduction.
