Dear Rahul,
If your employees are educated then asked them to provide their certificates on all certificates DOB mentioned.
SSC
HSC
Bechelor
Master
PGDiploma etc
and if your employee uneducated then ask them to provide

Hi All,
What alok said is correct. If there is no way to get the date of birth certified from anywhere, you can mention it as 01 july. It is better if you get a declaration from the employee. if there is no proof, the date employee gives should be taken as authentic.
But one thing, if the employee has studied in the school, it is possible to get a certificate from the school in the stamp paper. and it is valid document too.

Dear Friends,
Date of birth of employee issue is a very tricky issue. When the employee joined your organisation they might have given some information such as year of birth etc. If you have any records, use it as the base and make the the date of submission as the date of birth or ask the employee to get a affidavit from the court in respect of his date of birth.
If you have any doubt about the date of birth of any employee, send him to the District Health officer for the skin test and get a certificate from the DHO referred by the Management as the proof of his date of birth. We did it as cited above in many cases.

Dear Mr. Alok,
Assuming the employees are illiterate, you may refer them to the district Govt Hospital where a panel (Board) of doctors shal exmine them and issue certifiacte determining appropriate year of his/her birth. You can fix any date of birth in that range of the concerned employee. This will be be more authentic and reliable.

You can get their DoB: Viz:
Case 1:
If your employee/s are literate ask them to submit their SSC Marksheet and Certificate
Reason: there you can find DoB of candidates (which is mandatory given on it by state board)
Case 2:
If they are illiterate ask them get an affidavit from a notary public about his date of birth
from their respective Gram Panchayata.

Dear Sir,
Though the suggestion given are best and as per law but practically it did not happen due to scaricity of employees specially workers. In that case, companies does not have any other option but to go for dental checkup by registered MDS / BDS practitioner and obtained their approximate date of year.
