Well, if you want to make career in HR then primarily you should go for an MBA in HR and later you can do short term specialization courses too. Doing SAP HR is also the good choice to make career in HR.
Along with those courses try to get some practical knowledge and experience on various HR and payroll softwares as companies are using many advanced HR software to make their HR or payroll process easy.
There are many har and Payroll software that comes with free or trial version like Saralpayroll. So , you can try it for free to know how exactly it works.

hi Minal ,
SAP will be a great career path , but I would suggest that you get some core experience before joining SAP .
For example if you are planning to do SAP HR , then I would suggest that you first gain some core experience in HR Processes like Recruitment , Payroll , Time management , Training and Development , Performance management , Compensation management .
Along with this experience , you could also attempt to get a SAP Certification from an reputed SAP Partner .
As far as I know about SAP HR , your core knowledge will come in handy when you are working on various SAP implementations .
You could also look for training in Oracle , as they both are competitors .
Hope this helps .
Thanks

hi Mni ,
As i have told you before you could get into lot of other HR domains apart from Recruitment .
But you would have to brush up your knowledge in the other HR Domains(Training & Development , payroll etc.) to crack the interviews , but i am not sure about the courses .
As you have asked , SAP & Oracle are real good , but its not easy for freshers to get into it .

More and more people opting for better governance in corporate. SAP looks better as most of the big and mid size companies would eventually go for ERP and SAP ranks top in ERP.

hi Bharti ,
You can surely do the SAP course over the weekends .
But from my knowledge , you will not able to do justice to your training .
If you are really looking to get into the SAP domain , you will need to initially practice a lot on the demo systems , maybe around 6 months .
since SAP freshers requirements are really less , it maybe really difficult to get into SAP .
From my experience , if you are serious about SAP , then you will have to fully engage yourself into SAP and as they say EAT , DRINK & SLEEP SAP .
sorry to say but There are no shortcuts in SAP too .
Hope this helps , otherwise you would be very lucky to land into SAP domain after a training.
Best Of luck .
