I'm an MBA graduate specialized in Marketing from Hyderabad. I'm working as a Sr. Process Executive in a highly reputed MNC, and I have 3 years of work experience in the call center industry. Working in a BPO and doing rotational night shifts is something that I've never enjoyed, but I had no options. Presently, I don't see any opportunities for growth and development, and I'm not very happy with the package that I'm withdrawing currently.

I've been thinking about starting to learn SAP HR functional for a year, but I could never build up the courage to get into it. There are a couple of reasons why I've been reluctant to start the course. Firstly, I've been out of studies for more than 3 years, and I don't have any domain experience.

Secondly, I'm not sure if I can secure a job after completing the course because, from my knowledge and research, most companies are looking for candidates with at least 2 full life cycle implementations.

Now I'm in a situation where things have saturated, and I want to start this SAP course so that I can change my field, expect a satisfying job that guarantees growth and development, and a better pay package. (The pay package is of least importance to me at this point in time.)

I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know what sort of opportunities I can find as a fresher in SAP HR and whether I will be able to learn while I'm working, as I've heard it requires a lot of effort and practice.

Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt response, but I found your answer a little vague. I'm planning to join the institute next week and would really appreciate it if you could keep me posted with some tips and advice. Thanks again.

I have an MBA in Travel from Lucknow University and a PG in HR from IMT Ghaziabad, with 5 years of work experience in HR, mainly in the Infrastructure and Travel Industry. I would like to know how obtaining a certification in the Functional SAP HR Module can help in securing a better package and gaining global exposure. Can anyone shed light on the career prospects post-certification in the Functional SAP HR Module concerning my profile?

Thanks
