1. Understanding the type of people required for the job i.e. skill sets, qualifications, etc.
2. Are the required skills readily available in the market? If not, then how to equip the personnel with that knowledge (the importance of training comes in here).
3. The frequency of upgrading staff on the changes in this domain also has to be understood.
4. Insurance is a highly target-driven industry. You can identify the problem areas in the performance of the personnel.
5. Once this is identified, you can address the problem areas. Training and development will definitely be one of the solutions. Here lies the impact of training and development on staff performance.
