Hello,
I had previously withdrawn my full settlement, marking the date of exit after two months. I then rejoined the same company after a six-month period. My Provident Fund (PF) has been credited under the same PF account, but I am unable to withdraw the PF that was credited during the rejoining period. When I attempted to withdraw, there was no option for a final settlement. Furthermore, if I try to transfer the PF, the office rejects it stating that the final settlement is already done.
I have also applied for a joint declaration, and my employer has approved it. However, the PF office is rejecting it, again stating that the final settlement is done. I still have a PF balance pending against the same company, but I am unable to withdraw it.
It\'s been a long time, and I have not been able to find a solution to this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like you're in a complex situation. Here are a few steps you can take:
1. Contact your HR department: Your company's HR department should be able to provide some guidance on this issue. They may be able to liaise with the PF office on your behalf or provide documentation to support your claim.
2. Consult with a legal expert: If your issue remains unresolved, it might be beneficial to consult with a legal expert who specializes in labor laws. They can provide advice based on the specific laws and regulations in your country.
3. File a grievance: If all else fails, consider filing a grievance with the EPFO. You can do this online via the EPFO's grievance portal. Be sure to provide all the necessary details and any supporting documentation.
Remember, it's important to keep all communication and documentation related to this issue. This will be helpful if you need to escalate the issue or seek legal advice.

We had a similar case in our organization where an employee faced the same issue. What we did was:
1) Closed the old PF account by mentioning the last correct exit date.
2) Requested HR to generate a new PF account number for the rejoining period.
3) Once the new PF account was active, we used the “One Member – One PF Account” option to transfer the balance from the old account to the new account.
4) After this, the employee was able to successfully withdraw the PF balance.
You may request your HR team to do so, or ask your HR to consult with the PF consultant who handles the PF returns of your company.
