What is the pay scale offered to you in the offer letter? If nothing is specified anywhere about an increment, there is no harm in politely asking for one. Is the case the same for all employees?

Hi As already it is 2 years and you have not yet received the increment have discussion with the management reason for not giving the increment. Later you can ask for increment

Before commenting on the same, I would like to know if you have a performance appraisal system within the organization and how your compensation is mapped to your performance. Do you have a review mechanism in place? If yes, please find out the review scores with your line manager and HR point of contact. That should help you understand the reason for no hike, no revision of pay scale, or discuss further on the hike.
