I worked at a small IT company for one year from June 2010 to July 2011. The company was registered in 2005 under the Small Scale Industries Act. They issued an experience letter for me. Is it valid? Will there be any problem during background verification if I join any public or private sector organization?

That means my experience certificate is valid and no reason to worry. Isn’t it?

An experience certificate issued by any firm as proof of your service in the firm is valid, irrespective of its registration under any act. The only criterion is that whenever any background verification is done, there must be proper feedback from the firm.

Best of luck

I work with a leading HR services company that also conducts background verifications. The entire purpose of conducting a background verification on a new hire is to ensure that all the details submitted by the candidate are accurate and correct, with no manipulation or forgery involved. The registration type of your company will never be held against you.
