Hi,

I am a 2008 MBA - HR graduate. Over the past year, I have undertaken some software courses, but unfortunately, I did not succeed in that area. I am now looking to re-enter the HR field. However, during interviews, panel members inquire about my activities during the past year, and I find it challenging to provide a satisfactory response to this question.

Please assist me in determining how to address this one-year gap following my MBA until now.

Regards,
Kishan.

You can surely tell about your course.. You can mention you wanted to understand technology which could help out in understanding the profiles of the candidates( Recruitment front)

Tell the truth. You were studying something to increase your knowledge and enhance the utility of your skills. Although skills have been improved, I have yet to pass the certification test... which I can manage simultaneously while working.

Good luck.

Telling the truth does not mean you did any crime.

"Truth Always Triumphs"

When today, there are full of lies in virtually every interview, where both the interviewer and the interviewee know, it's time for people like us to speak truth boldly. Of course, learn to present it convincingly.
