I have given an interview at a BIG IT firm and cleared it with the hiring manager. I resigned from my current company and served the 90-day notice period. During that time, I completed my onboarding process with all the required documents. However, the BGV team contacted me for Form 16, one of the same documents I provided for clearance. They marked me as red on their portal, stating that the document was not sufficient for verification. Form 16 is provided by the company itself. How can they claim that the document was not verified? I have tried to call HR, but they are not answering my calls.
Let me know what I can do further now as I have been jobless for one month.

Dear Rohit,
While writing a message, when thoughts overcrowd one's mind, the message becomes inconsistent or even clumsy. This is probably what happened when you wrote your post. By joining many simple sentences, the second sentence has become a compound sentence, but its length confuses the reader.
Checking with the BGV Team
Did you check with the BGV team about why they raised the red flag against Form 16? You say that you have approached the HR Department. But have you approached the HR of the current company or the former company that issued you Form 16?
Recommendation for Clarification
I recommend you write a letter to the head of the organization clarifying your position. Write to them that you just submitted a scanned copy of the form that was issued by your former company. The form in the same format is issued to other employees as well, and you do not have control over the formats of the forms issued by the company.
Improving Writing Skills
While writing a letter, first write it in MS Word. Download the Grammarly extension to improve your grammar. Otherwise, there is a risk of losing the case due to poor writing.
Thanks,

Hello Sir, I have approached the current company's HR department regarding the Form 16 that I shared, which was provided by my previous company. The same Form 16 was also shared with my last company for the purpose of Background Verification (BGV) clearance. At that time, the BGV was successfully cleared at Wipro and with my client, PWC.
However, the HR department is currently not responding to calls regarding the certification for my joining date.

There is something wrong with the information you have provided.
Form 16 Clarification
Is the Form 16 from your most recent company or an earlier one? What reason has the BGV team given for rejecting the document? If they called you, you probably know how to get in touch with them. Have you asked them for an explanation?
Verification of Form 16
Form 16 cannot be issued by a company but must be issued by the income tax department. Did the Form 16 have a digital signature? Was it authenticated, and does it match your 26AS for that period? If they believe the Form 16 is fake, you can show them your 26AS to demonstrate that it matches.

Hi, I have shared Form 26AS with my bank statement for that period.
My last company cleared my BGV before onboarding at the site, and the client also cleared my BGV before creating my ID. How is it possible that the BGV is not cleared?
