Hello,

I hope to have some information on this scenario.

I have worked in a company called ABC (Example). In Year 2007, I left ABC and joined XYZ company. I worked there for 10 months and left this company on good terms. After XYZ Company, I joined HHH company and worked there for 1.5 years. Then, I rejoined XYZ company in October 2009.

The twist began in March when they asked for my Form 16 from ABC company, which I had left in 2007.

When I tried to contact ABC, they said they had not received any employment verification call or email from XYZ company.

I wrote the same email to HR, stating that no contact had been made, so please reach out to ABC first.

They replied to this email after two weeks, saying, "Meanwhile, we are checking with our team. Please provide the document."

I have been in a big dilemma about what is going on and why they are behaving this way.

Please help and advise on the approach I should take to save myself from sleepless nights and protect my career.

Regarding ABC, I have no idea about the current status of the company.

Thank you for taking the time to read this query.

And even more thanks if you are replying.

With Regards,
