Let me know if my understanding is correct . As per section 16(c) and (e) of Maharashtra shops and Est Act 2017 it is comp off + double wages if a worker works on weekly off.

Compensatory Leave for Denied Weekly Holiday
If a worker is denied a weekly holiday, the compensatory leave in lieu thereof shall be given within two months of such weekly holiday. This means the employee can avail of their compensatory day off within two months.
