What is the nature of your industry? What is your finished product? How many employees work at your company? Do you have a proper policy on Performance Appraisal (PA)?

Whether working from the office or from home, the process remains the same. However, if you feel that productivity has decreased due to working from home, you may adjust the targets. Nevertheless, the points of assessment remain unchanged.

Thanks,

In most instances, the time of login and participation in discussions on Zoom or other platforms is significant. The changing scenario for most firms reflects extended live/online communication times until midnight, unlike the normal attendance at offices, causing increased stress. The employer's mood also leans towards continuing work from home (WFH) for as long as possible, except for deploying core groups at offices where servers are located. Employers catering to clients in various time zones find that the hours spent logged in eat into the personal lives of employees.

Ensuring Effective Work From Home

The admin must ensure connectivity, modem/signals, the quality of laptops/desktops, power backup used for WFH, etc., all play a crucial role. Therefore, remote WFH would require giving weightage to the constraints faced by the employees.
