Yes, if HR tells you to show your EPF passbook or member portal, employment history can be tracked. If your employment history is legitimate, then you don't need to worry about it. It's an employer's right to verify before hiring an employee.

I am exploring a way to track employees without directly asking them, using their UAN number. The challenge we face is managing multiple employees across different locations. Is there a method where I can input the UAN number into a government website and retrieve the employee's past employment history?
