Hi, I got a job offer from one of the listed organizations. Unfortunately, before joining, I received an email from their HRD stating that they are canceling my Letter of Intent due to negative feedback/verification. Based on the LOI, I resigned from my previous organization. After inquiring about the reason for this decision, they are not providing me with any valuable explanation. I don't believe there is any rule that allows an employer to cancel an LOI if there is an issue with verification; they should have addressed this earlier. I think this is entirely their fault. Please advise.
