Dear Neeraj,

Blue collar or otherwise, teach them about the quality aspects of their job. Explain how customer satisfaction improves with the help of quality work and how it, in turn, raises the organization's competitiveness.

Secondly, measure the ratio for suggestions for process improvement. Teach them how to give suggestions to enhance processes or product quality.

While you may be tempted to conduct training on subjects like positive thinking and personality development, trust me, it will not have any impact on their job. Please consider this a given.

Generating quality consciousness at the grass-root level is crucial. Many of the company's issues originate due to poor quality. If they understand the cost of quality and cost of poor quality, it's even better!
