Dear Diwaker, please note that what you have is a "salary slip" and not an "attendance break-up slip." All that is required is to mention the attendance in the number of days on the salary slip. From the number of days for which a salary is paid, it is evident that paid time off has been included as well.
Do you have any concerns about potential scrutiny regarding the attendance shown on the salary slip? Does it include weekly offs, or does it reflect all the days of the month your employees worked? If you want to demonstrate that employees have taken their weekly offs, it is crucial to maintain an attendance register accurately. There is no need to display weekly offs on the salary slip as additional proof.
Thanks,

Dear Diwaker,
I agree with Mr. Dinesh, and there is no necessity to mention the weekly offs in the payslip and related records to be maintained for verification purposes by the statutory authorities. However, in some companies, the leave availed in that particular month and data on the balance leave are being mentioned in the payslip for the convenience of the employee.

Understanding Salary Slips and Weekly Offs
Salary slips provide details of wages paid for the number of days worked, including statutory deductions like PF and ESI. However, a weekly off is a requirement under the Factories Act or Shop & Establishment Act, and its certification on the salary slip is not required. Salary slips are useful when employees approach banks or similar bodies to prove their earnings for the month. Even if you mention the number of holidays and weekly offs enjoyed by the employee for the concerned month, it is only to prove the earnings in relation to the number of days worked. To the best of my knowledge, there is no statutory compulsion to mention the number of weekly offs on the salary slip.
