Dear Team,
How to file a complaint in the Labour Court against the company for not providing the salary? I was working at ENSURE SUPPORT SERVICES INDIA PVT LTD, and the company has not paid my salary since March 17. Despite this, I have continued working, but they have not confirmed when I will receive my salary. Therefore, I need to file a complaint in the Labour Court.

Steps to Take When Employer Does Not Pay Dues
First, make a complaint under the Payment of Wages Act and the Karnataka Shops & Establishment Act with your area labor inspector. Then check whether your PF or ESI contributions are being made, and if not, lodge a complaint with the respective enforcement officer. If your claim is not settled, then proceed to court.

Dear [Employer],
I am writing to request that you settle the payout within the designated due dates. If you are able to settle the amount with goodwill gestures, there will be no need to escalate the matter for further redressal.
It has come to my attention that many companies have been facing financial challenges since November 2016. Due to these financial constraints, some organizations are finding it difficult to meet their payout obligations within the stipulated time frame. However, this delay may not necessarily be intentional.
Should you choose not to settle the outstanding dues, I will have to proceed as outlined above. Please be aware that this may put my employment status in a precarious position.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely

How to file a complaint for unpaid salary
So far as I can understand, you have already communicated (in writing) with your employer regarding the payment of your salary. Now, how to file a complaint? You cannot directly file a complaint in the labor court; you will have to approach the Labor Officer of the area having jurisdiction over your company.
Write a simple application informing him of all the details, including your date of joining, your designation, your monthly salary details, the amount of salary due, when the salary is normally paid, and for which month it is due.
