Subject: Non-Payment of Salary by XYZ Company
Dear Sir,
With due respect, I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I have been working at XYZ Company since June 1, 2020, as an 'Executive HR.'
From October 1, 2020, I was put on leave (without any official papers) by management due to a decrease in orders. The GM (HR, Admin & Compliance) assured me that I could rejoin when the factory reopened. However, from October 1, 2020, the factory gradually reopened, and almost all employees have rejoined over the past three months.
It is noteworthy that the factory management has neither allowed me to rejoin nor provided any formal letter indicating that my services are no longer required. Additionally, they have not cleared my dues, which include two months' salary (June and September 2020) and layoff benefits, even though my job duration has exceeded six months.
On December 19, 2020, I met with my GM (HR, Admin & Compliance) to discuss my joining status. On that day, he informed me that my services might not be required, without any formal letter, which was surprising. It is worth mentioning that the company has already paid all staff salaries for October 2020, and salaries for November 2020 will be paid on December 23, 2020.
Honestly, this situation is unexpected for me. My final settlement dues may be a small amount for XYZ Company, but they are crucial for my family, as my child's school admission, tuition fees, and monthly house rent are all pending. Sir, I am uncomfortable writing in this manner, but we must face the consequences of every action in our lives.
I hope you understand and consider my situation, where your kind attention and help are required. I will be ever grateful to you.

Redrafted Letter
Dear Sir,
With due respect, I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I have been working at XYZ Company as an 'Executive HR' since June 1, 2020.
From October 1, 2020, I was orally instructed to remain on leave by management due to fewer orders. The GM (HR, Admin & Compliance) assured me that I could rejoin upon the reopening of the factory. Although the factory has gradually been reopening since October 1, 2020, and it has been almost three months since all others have rejoined, the factory management has neither instructed me to resume duties nor provided any communication about it. Importantly, I have not received any salary for June and September 2020, along with layoff benefits. The company has already paid salaries for October and November 2020 to all staff and workers, and further salary will be paid on December 23, 2020.
Finally, on December 19, 2020, I had the chance to meet the GM (HR, Admin & Compliance) and inquired about my joining status. He told me that I may not be required, which surprised me a lot! This has been a rude shock to me. Sir, my final settlement dues may be a small amount for XYZ Company, but it is very much needed for my family. My child's school admission, tuition fees, and monthly house rent are all pending till now.
I hope you will understand and consider my situation, where your kind attention and help are required, for which I will be ever grateful to you.
