There are no employees covered under the purview of ESIC since the beginning. Please advise on how to proceed with compliances when no employee is under ESIC but has an ESIC Code. Additionally, we do not have a user ID and password for the same.

If you have more than 20 employees drawing a salary of less than 15k, you must get your company registered with ESIC. You will receive the code for ESIC after registration. Once registered, you can then start paying the contributions online. Details will be available on the ESIC website.

As far as I understand, you can submit the Return of Contribution on the prescribed form by indicating therein that during the contribution period, no employee was coverable, and hence the return may be treated as NIL.
Since ESIC is currently accepting online returns for user ID and password, you may contact the Branch Office Manager of your area to which your unit is attached.
Thank you.

You are required to submit the Return of Contribution from the date of coverage until the contribution period ending in March 2014. Please confirm that no employee during these periods of returns was covered under the said Act.
Regarding the Submission of Returns
I have heard that currently, ESIC has changed some procedures, and online submission of returns is now automatic. Therefore, you may contact the appropriate branch office of ESIC for the submission of such returns.

Hi, can somebody guide me on how to file nil returns in ESIC? We do not have any employees working in the company since last year, and since none of our employees fell under the ESIC bracket of 15000/-, we did not register them under ESIC. Please suggest how to file the same.
