What capacity did you join? Was there any formal letter of appointment? In three days, did they assign you to a project or job, etc.? Speak to management and submit your concerns in writing; remember, you have only spent three days. Do not worry about threats of absconding.

Yes, the management can take action. What they can do is issue a charge sheet, initiate a domestic enquiry, and terminate your service. Nothing more than that. Since you have decided not to continue and have worked for only 3 days, you have practically nothing to lose.
