Dear friends, I recently resigned from a company in the UAE and returned to India. I have a valid UAE Employment visa in hand, but I haven't traveled yet. I have received another job offer from a different company in the UAE. I am currently in India. Can I go to the UAE again without canceling the old employment visa? Also, am I allowed to visit other GCC countries? Please reply urgently.

Derick

Yes, you can go and inform the Embassy with proof of joining a new company to obtain a certificate of employment from your current employer. There is a fee applicable to the new employer, so please reconsider the fee and discuss it with your current employer.

If you have completed more than 2 years, then an NOC (No Objection Certificate) is not required. You can join another company once you have canceled your visa.

Types of Visas in the UAE

There are two types of visas in the UAE: employment visa and free zone visa. If you were holding a free zone visa, you can join immediately, but visa cancellation is required in any case.

If you stay more than six months outside the country, then your visa will get canceled automatically. In this case, your passport does not hold the cancellation. Someone has to go to the Emigration at the Airport and get the cancellation seal in your passport before you can travel on another visa.

I am giving more details on this. I came back from Dubai with the right procedure. My company canceled my residence visa, and I got the canceled stamp in my passport. After coming back to India, I got an employment visa, but I don't want to go on that visa because I received another good offer from another company in Dubai. Can I get a visa for my new offer? Please advise me.

I also have a query. I have received a job offer in Dubai and have obtained my employment visa. However, due to a family problem, I am unable to join the organization in Dubai. Could you please advise me on what will happen to my employment visa? Will there be any ban imposed on me if I am unable to join?

I am looking forward to your help and support.

I visited Dubai 2 months ago on a visit visa. I got a job in a TPSA, signed the offer letter, and the employer asked me to join immediately on the visit visa itself, saying they would apply for the visa from there and obtain my labor approval. I completed my training and received my visa; however, they informed me that I needed to complete the exit formalities, so I returned.

During my time at TPSA, I encountered severe unprofessional behavior and am very dissatisfied with the job profile. Despite the confusion, my family advised me to stay. On the other hand, I received an email from the company stating that they are canceling my visa and imposing a long-term ban.

Visa and Employment Concerns

I would like to check if I am entitled to a ban. I have not visited Dubai with the employer visa that was issued to me. Please help.
