While you need to do focus objectively, you need to proceed with a sense of compassion and empathy when so required.
Don't expect people to thank you. Carry on with your functions with humbleness. Never be angry. Anger only cultivates Hate & finally it is important how you respond.
RESPOND - Pause, clarify and reply...that is a Response. An Impulsive reply or action (without thinking) is a REACTION AND NOT A RESPOSE.
These a few Gems I have learnt. Practice them in your personal and work culture. You cannot go wrong.
