We want to know when contribution for ESIC is to be deducted from the workers and to be contributed by the employer.
In case the ESIC hospital is not there at the place of working but it is there in the District, is the ESIC contribution to be deducted? Is there any criteria that if an ESIC hospital is situated within a radius of ..............(Some) KM, then the ESIC contribution to that particular site is applicable.

Is the ESI Act applicable to your establishment? Do you have an ESI Code number?
Employees working in ESI "Implemented areas" fall under the purview of the ESI Act. An employee must be registered under the ESI Act with an ESI Insurance number.
