Dear Bashary,
To get the HR audit checklist, just look at the right side of the screen and you will get few posts. For additional posts, this forum may be searched.
Audit helps us in identifying the gaps in systems and processes. You wanted to conduct the HR audit sooner you join. Your proactive approach is appreciable. Your post shows your change orientation. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend you to wait and understand the culture of the organisation. If you have little experience in HR then you could reveal the gaping holes. First try to fix that.
Above all, after joining the new organisation, understanding the priorities of your boss or top boss is also important. Fulfil his/her priorities first. Otherwise, there could be a situation wherein you could work on audit report but your boss wanted you to work on something else. The mismatch in the priorities could develop uneasy relationship between both of you which might not be conducive for the rest of your tenure.
Thanks,
