Did u have certified standing order for you. If yes you can follow the rules mentioned in it. Or otherwise check the fake certificate with the certificate issued authority and find out its correctness. If it is fake, issue show cause and do the disciplinary proceedings.

If he submits any fake documents, you have to prove it through domestic enquiry or otherwise and take disciplinary action accordingly.
