Hi Guys,
I am a HR in a small IT firm. Recently, officials from Labour Department visited our office and was inspecting whether we are managing our staffs properly. They got details of one of our staff and informed us that, we should get the forms (Form 3, Form 5 and Form S) filled and signed from that particular employee and should submit back to them.
We would like to know what are these three forms all about. Also, where can we download these forms.
Your quick response would be much appreciated as we need to respond to the Labour Department within the next 2-3 days.

Labour Law Is Different From State To State. Please say at first, which state you are in
Herewith attached the Tn Govt labour Law display forms . Kindly take print out & laminated it. And Fixed your Branch Notice board . it will be inspected by labour officer , while his inspection time.

I am working with nationalized Banking organization at zonal office ,where house keeping agreement had done for maintaining office premises.While inspection by Labour Enforcement officer ( Central ) pointed out as a " Principal Employer " for displaying notices against rule Rule 81(1)(i) , Irregularities under payment of Gratuity Act 1972 and central rules 1972 ( Breach of Rule 4(1), Display of abstract of the Act ( Breach of Rule 20), Details of personnel resigned /retired/ died/ disable during last 3 years ( Breach of section 7 B (a), Payment of Bonus to employees ( Breach of Rule 4(c)), sending of annual return in form D ( Breach of Rule5 ). Are these notices required to be display by the Principal Employer ? Is the registration formalities is required as a Principal Employer ?

Abstract of the Act ( Gratuity Act & Payment of Wages Act & Minimum Wages Act and Registration Under CLRA is mandatory to be displayed.
Since you have agreement with the House Keeping Work, try to send and arrange Bonus Return Copy through Your Party immediately.
LEO inspection and compliance must be satisfied with proper documentation otherwise you may be in problem in spite of you being a government Banking Organisation.
