Please note that the Labour Inspector visited our showroom (selling consumer goods) on 15/03/17 and has sent a notice to submit the following forms as per Goa government rules. Can you please help:
1. Register of wages in Form II A under Rule 5,
2. Register of fines in Form I under Rule 3,
3. Register of advances in Form III under Rule 4,
4. Annual Returns in Form IV under Rule 17,
5. Register of overtime in Form VIII under Rule 28(2),
6. Muster Roll in Form XI under Rule 29(5),
7. Wage slip in Form IX under Rule 29(2),
8. Annual Returns in Form III,
9. Register of fines in Form IX as per Rule 17(3)(a) under the Shop and Establishment Act 1973,
10. Register of deductions for damage or loss caused to the employer by neglect of employees in Form X under Rule 17(4),
11. Register of leave in Form XII under Rule 31(2) - Shop & Establishment,
12. Register of employment in Form XX or XXI as per Rule 31(1),
13. Register of wages in Form XXIII under Rule 31(2),
14. Register of compensatory holiday in Form XXVII sub-rule (6) of Rule 31.
Furthermore, the Labour Inspector has also asked us to display the following notices:
1. Notice of Date of payment of wages,
2. Notice of Rate of wages under Rule 18,
3. Notice showing the minimum rate of wages fixed in Form IV,
4. Notice of weekly holiday in Form XXVI under Rule 31(3),
5. Notice of hours of work in Form XXII under Rule 31(1),
6. Notice of close day in Form XXIV to the Labour Inspector as per Rule 31(3)(a).
Can you please suggest whether we can maintain the same format or if we need to adhere to the forms recommended by the Labour Inspector? In case you have any of the above formats, please share.
