Dear Seniors,

Warm greetings.

I have recently opened up my placement company, Career Alliances. Since I am doing well, I would now like to expand my connections and am willing to go for direct associations with BPO (domestic & international). Currently, I am working as a sub-vendor for many consultants. Additionally, I would like to recruit for IT companies.

Kindly help me with the procedure of approaching these companies' HR for the same.

I would appreciate your suggestions and advice.

Regards,

Shweta Kaul

Developing New Industry Contacts

First and foremost, you have to start by developing new contacts in the industry. Since you already have a database of candidates from a particular city, start targeting 4 to 5 new clients whom you have never contacted each week. Call the office, and you will likely reach the reception or security. Chances are that you will get a reply saying that the HR is not in their seat or is in a meeting. Get their name and pursue again until you succeed in talking to the right person.

Obviously, you cannot approach clients where you are already working as a sub-vendor, as it may breach the non-circumvent clause with your contractor.
