I need some brief explanation on EFP, pension fund and UAN.
When one will be eligible for getting the monthly pension and below queries
1. What is the min/max amount one can get as pension under this. How is it calculated?
2. If a person leave the service before the required age (58 Years), can he contribute to the EPF and pension fund. And if yes in which EPF account account (would it be the last organization PF)
3. What is the minimum no of years a EPF account (vis-a-vis pension fund account) need to be continued to get the benefit of life time pension after 58 years(i believe it is 10, but what if there is a gap of several months between two organizations)

And whether pension fund account is maintained if the provident fund is managed by a trust instead of regional EPFO
Dear ,
1. Minimum pension is Rs. 1000. There is no upper limit. Pension calculation for pensionable service is pensionable salary x pensionable service /70
2. For pension contribution he/she should be a member of EPF. After relieving from service, pension contribution is not possible.
3. Minimum service to get pension from EPS is 10 years. Gap between service is not a matter of concern.
4. Whether EPF is credited to EPFO or PF Trust, EPS contribution is independent.
