Career Advice for HR Aspirant

My name is Niresh. I am a 2014 MBA fresher. I have completed my B.Tech in Information Technology, and later I pursued my MBA in HR. I am interested in starting my career in HR, but unfortunately, there are few openings for HR positions in reputed organizations. Would it be advisable for me to begin my career as an HR recruiter in a consulting firm? Will this experience be beneficial in advancing my career in HR in future MNCs? I lack proper guidance in this matter, so I would appreciate your help in overcoming this situation.

Regards,
Niresh Kumar.

Consider a Long-Term Career Path

I think you should look long-term. If you have good communication skills, the ability to understand others' viewpoints, and convincing skills, then you should opt for a consultant role in the Oracle Apps HRMS functional side. ERP jobs are always top-paying, so you can have a good future here. Also, Oracle HRMS is popular in many foreign countries, so you can consider working abroad too.

Training Opportunities

There are ways to get trained in this field, and one of the good training institutes is Educrafters Training Academy in Pune. They offer online and classroom training as well. Visit http://www.educrafterstrainingacademy.com or email [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].

You have an MBA! That too in HR. You should try for senior positions in HR. Try to learn payroll processing similar to the way work is done in the Payroll division. Consider taking payroll courses from either V-skills or Iravya Learning. If you ask me, I'd suggest Iravya's PF & ESI complete study courses as they helped me. I was lucky to get direction from my senior at work. Good luck in your career.
