We have Interior Contractor firm in Mumbai registered Under Shops & Establishment Act,and wages are paid to the labours as per Shops & Establishment Act In one of hotels Project in Mumbai. Currently we are doing Carpentry,Painting & Polishing work in the same.The Hotel HR department informed to us pay the minimum wages as per Hotels Industry Category not as per Shops & Establishment act because you are doing work in hotels premises so you have to pay Minimum wages as per Hotel Industry category. Is it so ?
