Dear Sai,
this is not first time..
even when band called by CITU months ago..
for that also employee had to compensate by working on sunday.
just i wish if employer wants the employee to compensate but should be paid if not double but normal rate.. is it possible?

As other members have suggested, the weekly off can be substituted three days before it or threedays after it within a period of ten days.If you require a worker to work on a holiday and wish to compensate him, the wages thus become payable are called Over time wages which shall b edouble the normal wages, whther it is factory or commercial establishment.
