Dear Seniors, I have confusion that under which act it is specified that all establishments has to provide 13 public holidays in a year (ie: 4 national holidays + 9 festival holidays). Can you help me?
Hi, You need to refer Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Act, 1958 for notification.

As Lakshmi Narayan said refer the same & also in few states even the state government such as Telangana, Maharashtra has incorporated the same in Shops & Commercial Establishment Act as well

I presume Nikhil is referring a situation in Kerala because no other state than Kerala has such a number of holidays, ie, 4 national holidays and 9 festival holidays. I am not wrong, Nikhil can refer to Kerala Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Act.
