Assert your rights do not be slaves to the rules by the companies. Indicate the statutory provision to the internal/external auditors who visit your company. Bring it to the notice of the company through the various employee representation forums that this policy is a violation of rule / law so and so. Responsible managements will consider your request.
The shops and establishment act is not being enforced as the factories act is being enforced in our country. Hence, the knowledge workers are educated slaves. Our education makes us cowards and cunning and makes us look for selfish motive always.

I am working in Engineering Industry - It is a small scale in Karnataka I want to Leave what types of leave to be given . What is the minimuw work that a employee has to do. If he join in Nov-08 can he eligible for Leav. AND IF HE JOIN IN JAN-09 WHAT IS THE LEAVE TO BE GIVEN. - FOR WORKER AS WELL AS STAFF.
