Industrial Relations And Labour Laws

I just want to know about different acts relating to employment in india........ i know name of some but don't know anything about them
such as
minimum wages act
-> employee provident fund act
-> employee state insurance act

i just know the names can someone help me to know more about these.............i have one another question is there any act covering leave rules..............
please help:idea:

This was posted in June,2008!!! By the time not only Maternity Benefits Act and Payment of Gratuity Act but various other Acts have got a few amendments.

1) want to be update latest information on IR.
2) Latest information on labour Acts.
3) i want to be strong in IR what can i do for this
4) how can i get latest statutory compliances chart including all labour acts.
Please guide me for above points.
