Books On Industrial Law - Labour Laws

RESPECTED ALL,
I NEED GOOD REFERENCE BOOK ON INDUSTRIAL LAW ISSUES BECAUSE I NEED TO HAVE PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE ON THEM.WHAT I KNOW IS ND KAPOOR'S -MERCANILE LAW.AND I AM REQUIRED TO BUY THIS TODAY.
KINDLY SUGGEST ME IF THIS IS FINE AND IF THERE IS OTHER BOOK ON THE SAME?

Hi Pallav !

If you are looking for commercial and taxation matter, I dont know much. But if Industrial means or includes Labour Laws, I personally feel Labour & Industrial Laws by P L Malik is the best.

please suggest on following i.e whether folwing are covered in abovementioned books:


The Factories Act
Workmens compensation act
ESI Act
Employees provident fund act
payment of gratuities act
maternity benefit act
payment of wages act
minimum wages act
industrial disputes act
industrial employment act
trade unions act
payment of bionus act
apprentice act
employment exchange act
collection of statistics act
labour act
sales promotion employees act

is there any quality book which provides updated information on these aspects to keep me updated with latest rules applicable for organisation as some of them (marked)ae mandatory to be followed as per latest amendments.this i require to know and hence to apply effectively with information as to legal clause and forms applicable i.e eough infomration to imlpement without least help of consultants.

if you want you can refer to "Labour Laws: everybody should know" by H.L. Kumar. It gives a brief idea about some laws you mentioned. Please go through it once before buying. We were recommended the same for our course.
