Hi all! I am working for an MNC that has decided to recruit 70 temporary staff for six months to complete a project. Until now, we have hired employees on a permanent basis only. Are there any procedures/formalities that need to be completed before taking employees on a temporary basis? Should they be covered by the Contract Labour Act, even though we are recruiting them directly without a contractor in between? Should we maintain separate registers for them?
