Dear All,

I am an HR Executive in a small IT firm. I have been asked to send a demotion letter to an employee who is working as a Sr. Software Developer due to performance-related issues. I have sent many promotion letters in my career as an HR Executive but never a demotion letter.

Kindly suggest how to write a demotion letter that does not sound or mean too insulting.

Looking forward to your reply!

Dear All,

I am an HR Executive in a small manufacturing firm. I have been asked to send a demotion letter to an employee who is working as a Network Administrator due to performance-related issues. I have sent many promotion letters in my career as an HR Executive but never a demotion letter.

Kindly suggest to me how to write a demotion letter that does not sound or mean too insulting.

I am waiting for a reply!
