I'm in the Indian Navy. I have seen the pay commission details. The pay scales were simply tripled compared to the current scale for all officers and sailors. That is good, but when I compared the differences in the pay scales of Officers/Sailors in the 6th pay commission, the difference also tripled. This means the gap in the salaries of the Officers and sailors will be more significant, making the sailors poorer. The market prices will also rise as the pay commission comes, but the individuals receiving lower pay now will become even poorer after the release of the 6th pay commission. This should be reviewed before the release of the pay commission.

Dear Sir,

I am Sub Major (Mohamed Ali) (Hony. Capt) (H/Lt on active list) retired on 30-09-1986 (AN) after working for 30 years, 2 months, and 19 days. I re-enrolled in DSC and served for 6 years and 3 months, from 19-05-1988 to 01-08-1994. I would like to know my current basic pension as of April 2010. Additionally, please provide me with the current pension revised table.

Thank you.
