Hi Everyone, Can someone please help me with what can be done if I am facing the following issue:

PF Overlap Issue

I worked in my previous company and received a termination letter on 24th Nov 2021. I joined another company on the same day, 24th Nov 2021. Now, my PF got overlapped by one day. What can I do?

Hi, How can the relieving date of the ex-employer and the joining date with the current employer be the same? You should have waited for the ex-employer to complete the disciplinary process before joining the new employer. Have you updated your current employer about this before joining?

Actually, I needed to get my termination letter on the 21st of November from my previous company. The 21st was a Sunday, and it was delayed due to some other reasons. I thought it would be better if I joined as soon as possible so that my joining date wouldn't be delayed. During that time, I was not aware that PF would generate for just one day and how it would impact my employment. Now, my current company is asking about all of this after 2 years. Since I was a fresher initially, I was not aware of PF, dual employment, and all those aspects.
