Hi, my name is Anish. I was working for a BPO. I had an approved leave of 8 days in the resignation period. When I was on my way to my hometown, the TL texted me that my leave had been rejected and that I had to come to the office no matter what. I continued to move to my hometown, but when I returned to the workplace, they informed me that I was terminated without any official confirmation. I was also in the notice period. So please guide me on what I should do to get FnF from this mess.

Hi,
Normally, taking a long leave of more than a week is not advisable during the notice period as the purpose of the notice period is to hand over responsibilities. If it is unavoidable, have you informed your superior that you will extend and compensate for the notice period? Anyway, after approval, canceling leave is not appropriate. You can request your employer for approval to plan the travel and also express your willingness to compensate for the extended period.
