Dear Rajesh,
You did a great job by posting this article, and I think you made it so simple that everyone can understand what the ESIC act includes. I must say I am also aware of this act but not in such detail. So, I would like to say thanks for posting this act.
Thank you.

Hi Rajesh!
Nice contribution. Thanks.
Last week, I was searching for information on ESIC. Fortunately, our friends helped a lot. Now, in the file you have uploaded, on page no. 4, there are certain specifications regarding who is not covered under the act, where the wage limit is stated as Rs. 7500 per month. (Above this amount, one is not covered under the act). However, based on the replies from our friends last week, I understand that the limit is Rs. 10000 per month. Could you please look into this and clarify?

Hi Rajesh,
Nice job, man. Very good and comprehensive. However, as Hiten suggested, the wage limit is Rs 10,000/- and not Rs 7,500/-. I think the change was made some 14 months back. Members, please clarify.

Dear Seniors,
I need urgent help from all of you. I am working as an executive HR in our company, and there is no policy in place at our organization. One of our staff members has been in an accident on the way to the office and has been on leave for 2 months with no salary credited to her account until now.
What should I do in this case? Should she be given basic or full salary? Should we implement an accidental policy?
😱 😱 😱
Please help.

Mr. Rajesh Muradi,
Thank you for providing comprehensive information on the ESI Act. On page 4 of your attachment, it has been stated under FOLLOWING ARE NOT EMPLOYEES: "construction workers engaged in raising additional building subsequent to the initial setup of the factory."
I would be grateful if you could provide me with the authority via which such workers are not considered employees, such as a notification, court judgment, etc.
Thank you,
