As you stated in your post, "allegations" have been leveled against you. Therefore, now the employer would issue a show-cause letter or explanation letter advising you to submit your explanation in your defense. Upon receipt, all connected documents shall be forwarded to the internal committee of your establishment to:

1. Ascertain the truth or falsity about the "allegations" and thereafter;
2. Submit the internal committee's report with definite and conclusive findings;
3. Enable your employer to take disciplinary action as required.

You should appear before the internal committee upon receiving notice/intimation from the IC on the date, time, and place/venue scheduled by the IC. Avail full and all reasonable opportunities given to you by the IC to defend the "allegations" leveled against you, which may include witnesses and/or documentary evidence you wish to produce in support of your case/defense. This may also involve cross-examination by you of the witnesses and evidence produced by the aggrieved woman complainant.

You have no option but to participate in the IC proceedings as the internal committee is empowered with the powers of civil courts in India to enforce the presence before the IC of any person during inquiries into sexual harassment complaints.
