My query is .... if the company had given one month prior notice of termination to some employees is the employer is liable to pay the extra notice period salary though they had given notice to them?

Hi Medha,
Please refer appointment letter's termination clause for better understanding regarding employee's termination.
That will help.
Thank you.

Dear Medha,
Notice pay is paid in absence of notice served to employee prior to his termination. Further, if the company had served notice in regard to termination one month prior is not required to pay. The notice period should be exact as per terms of appointment.

Notice of Termination was written or verbal? If written, no need to pay additional notice pay. Suresh
