I am working in a logistics company for the last 2 months as an HR. I have been assigned a crucial task which is to create 16 Principles for our Company. My boss has provided some helpful ideas, but I require additional assistance with this. Could anyone suggest some ideas?

Thank you in advance, Kirti

Dear Kriti,

Your management has told you to prepare 16 principles. But then the question arises as to why 16? Why not more or less?

Ok. Irrespective of the number of principles, I recommend you to execute Dr. Edward Deming's 14 Principles. If these 14 principles are embedded in the company's culture, it will be a big step towards work excellence.

Thanks,

Dear Kriti,

While endorsing DD's recommendations of Deming's 14 Principles, I really can't figure out the reason for SIXTEEN. Deming's D14, if applied to any service, any organization, any level, the results will lead to brilliance.

Dear Kirti,

Please reconfirm why there is a need for drafting the 14 principles. These will be used either in buyer's/social compliance or in practical application.

In my opinion, company policies should be written, understood, and implemented.

Thank you, Sir, Dinesh Divekar. I found your recommended link helpful. I got to draft some principles on my own :) :)
I don't think the number matters when it comes to a company's principles.
Thank you all for responding. Please keep supporting... waiting for more feedback.
