Dear Friends,

Many employees have a UAN number, but their details do not match because the old details were submitted without a UID number. Please advise me on the procedure for updating details on the EPFO website. I have already submitted the "Joint Declaration Form" for the same, but after one month, there has been no response from EPFO.

Please suggest an alternative way if possible.

Employee has to visit the EPF office of the old employer with a joint declaration from the old employer, along with documents certified by the old employer:
1) birth certificate
2) SSC certificate (any one) for correction of data.

Since the error originates from the old office, the present office cannot initiate the change in data.
