I am Varun from Mumbai. I have 5 years of experience in IT. In the first year, I worked in a company where no one received their salaries regularly, which led me to resign from there.
Over the next two years, I worked in a company where I received my salary on time and gained good exposure in my work. However, they paid very little (10k) even though I worked there for 2 years (3 years in total). Due to financial difficulties, I left that company.
I then joined a company using a fake experience letter and worked in an MNC as a third-party contractor. I acknowledge that this is not the right way to secure a job, but I did it because I believed I had the necessary skills based on my experience. I was disappointed when I did not receive the salary I deserved.
After 3 months, the company failed the background verification process and did not pay my salary. Subsequently, I stopped reporting to work.
After some time, the HR asked me to come to the office and informed me that they would monitor my work for 1 month. If they were satisfied with my performance, I could continue working there.
I worked on a project, proved my worth, and was rehired. I even received promotions and three salary increments.
Two years have passed.
Now, the issue is that I have an opportunity to work in Malaysia at a client location through my current company's payroll.
Will the client conduct a background verification?

"No good deed goes unpunished." I suggest being honest beforehand with the new Malaysian company where you have to work at the client's location, and then leave the rest to destiny. You will feel relaxed! You already have a job where you have proved yourself. Being honest will always help. If they understand your situation, great! You will be happy that you are working with an organization that has a flexible culture, understands and accepts people as they are, and believes in the human touch.
