Greetings, I'd like to inquire if casual leave is allowed for unconfirmed staff as in lieu of notice. According to policy, staff are allowed to use their annual leave as in lieu of notice. I'll appreciate feedback from people who have been in a similar situation. Thanks.

Dear BODEPAL,
Notice period is distinct from availing leaves or adjustment. First, the probationer is generally not allowed any casual leaves, while it may be credited to their account and availed after confirmation. In the case of staff, management may consider the annual leaves against notice. However, it cannot be correlated with probationers.
