Hi Everyone...!! I am new to this forum and came to know about this from one of my friends. A few months back, I was working with one of the biggest MNCs in the Delhi NCR location, but due to some personal reasons, I left the company after spending more than 5.5 years. For the last 5 months, I have been trying to get a suitable job, but all went in vain, and now I think I'll not be able to celebrate this Diwali with great enthusiasm. Let's see which way the wind blows...

A Brief Introduction About Me

I am a B.Com (H) graduate, aged 35 years, with close to 8 years of experience. My last drawn CTC was INR 5,10,000/-. My key skills are as follows:

• Liaison with third-party vendors
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Virtual transitioning of work from onshore US/UK locations
• Compliance – In terms of data security
• Quality checks of processing – Internal audit
• Commitment to quality – Adopted Lean best practices, continuous process improvements
• Systems knowledge – MS Office, Citrix, Lotus Notes, COGNOZ, IBM Mainframe, Siebel, Maestro

Can anyone please help in getting a suitable job in Delhi NCR?

Recently, I have been interviewed by some companies in Delhi NCR but have not succeeded. Now, I have given an interview with one of the outsourcing companies based in Delhi NCR for a mid-level profile. They are now asking me to submit ORIGINAL educational documents for at least 3-6 months and also need to sign a bond.

I know that this kind of practice is very prevalent in the UAE, but I'm not sure about a country like India. As far as my knowledge is concerned, the Companies Act of India does not allow such unethical practices. Can anyone throw some light on this?

Thanks

The problem you faced is one I have also encountered in the past, and I chose not to join that company. Interestingly, it is also from NCR, so I believe there may be more to the situation than meets the eye. My suggestion is to explore opportunities with another company that does not require you to sign a bond or submit your original documents.
